Last week, we went to Flores Family restaurant, on State Street in Schenectady. The food was delicious! We tried mango juice, tamarind, and another drink that was as white as milk. But the highlight of the meal was …. dessert! We had FLAN–a custard like dessert popular in Latin America.

Well, it’s that time of year. A couple of people have called in sick, and with the extremely cold weather, we are going to postpone our meeting tonight.

We will meet next week (1/30), when it warms up a bit and when we all have a chance to recover from this ugly, nasty cold!
